Finding the usable engraving area
Labels, foil, curved shoulders and changes in bottle diameter limit where wording can be placed. The cleanest exposed section of glass is identified first, then the message is sized to remain legible without running too close to the label or around an excessively curved area.
Preparing personalised wording
Names, dates and messages are checked exactly as supplied before the layout is prepared. Line breaks, alignment and letter size all affect the appearance of a personalised bottle. A shorter, well-spaced inscription will usually produce a stronger result than forcing too much wording into a restricted area.
Selecting the production method
Every bottle is assessed individually because glass thickness, coatings and surface condition can vary. The engraving approach is selected to suit the item and the level of detail required. The bottle is handled and positioned carefully so the prepared layout follows the intended viewing face.
A permanent celebration piece
Unlike an attached tag or printed sticker, engraving becomes part of the glass surface. After the contents have been enjoyed, the bottle can remain as a keepsake marking a birthday, anniversary, wedding, retirement or corporate presentation. The finished work is checked for placement, clarity and clean detail before return.
